Safe Routes to School meeting - Wednesday, 12 May
Thanks to those many members of the school community who attended the Safe Routes to School parent meeting last week. Representatives from the Department of Transport and the City of Bayswater were able to outline the process that will be used over the coming months to gather feedback from the school community about the ways we travel to school, the routes we take and identifying any potential travel hazards or 'Black Spots'.
At the conclusion of the community consultation process, a report will be prepared by the Department of Transport for the City of Bayswater which will recommend the different types of measures and treatments which may possibly be implemented by the City of Bayswater in response. To get the ball rolling, the school has registered with the Department of Transport's Your Move project, which is the first step in the information gathering process. Watch this space.
