Mt Hawthorn Band

Yesterday afternoon, our students had the good fortune to listen to the Mount Hawthorn Area Band.
This band is made up of primary students from Mount Hawthorn PS, Kyilla PS, North Perth PS and
Maylands Peninsula PS, who participate in the Instrumental Music School Services (IMSS) program.
As part of the performance, the students were able to learn more about the different instrumental
families in a band- strings, brass, woodwind and percussion. I would like to thank Mr Dale Pointon
and his merry band of parent helpers for getting the students and all their equipment to and from
school.
